Discover the untouched beauty of La Gomera, from ancient forests to volcanic wonders and historic treasures.

The excursion starts at Los Cristianos Port in South Tenerife, where we will board the Naviera Armas ferry to make our way to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island’s capital.

Upon arrival at the port, we will venture into the heart of the island, taking in the striking transition from arid to lush vegetation. Our first stop will be at “La Degollada de Peraza,” where we’ll witness the unique phenomenon of horizontal rain.

Continuing our journey, we’ll pause in the area known for ancient supervolcanoes to admire one of La Gomera’s most iconic landmarks, the “Roque de Agando,” an awe-inspiring volcanic formation.

As we enter Garajonay National Park, we will be surrounded by dense vegetation and uncover the secrets of the laurel forest ecosystem. This ancient subtropical forest dates back to the time of the dinosaurs. We’ll stop at Laguna Grande to follow a circular trail that allows us to fully appreciate the beauty of the laurel forest up close.

Our next destination is the Palmarejo viewpoint in Valle Gran Rey, where we’ll take in the breathtaking views of one of La Gomera’s most impressive canyons. We’ll then visit a nearby coastal village where you’ll have free time to enjoy a snack or explore the shoreline.

The trip continues until we arrive at the picturesque village of Agulo, where you can enjoy lunch at a traditional Gomera restaurant (lunch not included).

Lastly, we will return to San Sebastián to explore the remnants of history associated with Christopher Columbus’ visit to the island before his voyage to the Americas. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Torre del Conde and La Casa de Colón, two historic buildings that offer a glimpse into the past.

Itinerary

Exclusive excursion. A small group experience with a maximum of 18 participants traveling in a private vehicle: Mercedes V Class.

You will be accompanied by an official guide throughout the day.

The tour begins once all participants have been picked up.

Departure from La Gomera Port at 5:00 PM to return to Tenerife.

• Identification is mandatory. All customers must carry their ID or passport, as it will be required to board the ferry. Without this documentation, access to the ferry may be denied.
• The port fees for infants (babies aged 0-3 years) must be paid directly at the Fred Olsen office
• The meal is not included, but you can enjoy lunch at our recommended restaurant and savor a traditional Canarian dish.

It is advisable to bring motion sickness medication for the boat trip.
