Feel the thrill of watching the magnificent sunset from the highest peak in Spain. The Teide Cable Car will take you to an altitude of 3,555 meters, where you can marvel at the stunning sight of Teide’s shadow stretching across the horizon.

After the sunset, enjoy a delightful picnic-style dinner at the Cable Car Base Station.

The sky over Teide National Park is renowned as one of the world’s best for stargazing. Following dinner, positioned at the base station’s parking area, expert astronomers will guide you through the fascinating night sky using high-powered telescopes, revealing the wonders of the universe.

Essential Information

Pickup will be at the meeting point closest to your hotel. (Pickup is not available from Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago, Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraíso, El Médano, Golf del Sur, and Costa del Silencio.)

Restrictions

– Access to the excursion will be denied to those wearing open footwear (sandals), shorts, or short sleeves. Wearing appropriate clothing is essential due to the low temperatures during the activity.

– Children under 8 years old are not allowed on this night tour to Teide.

– Since the excursion includes the use of the Teide Cable Car, people with cardiovascular issues and pregnant women are not allowed due to the health risks associated with the altitude.

– People with health conditions should consult their doctor before participating in this night tour to Teide.

– According to current regulations, people with physical or motor disabilities are not permitted to ascend by cable car due to the risks associated with evacuation. 

– It’s important to note that if the cable car ceases operation due to unexpected technical reasons, those at the upper station would need to descend on foot via steep mountain trails.

– No pets are allowed.

Cancellation Policy

– If weather conditions prevent the Cable Car from operating for the Sunset & Stars activity, the sunset will be enjoyed from the Chío viewpoint or Los Roques de García, and a refund of €50 for adults and €25 for children will be provided for non-residents, and €16 for adults and €10 for children for residents, corresponding to the ascent and descent. 

– If weather conditions prevent astronomical observation, €35 per adult and €30 per child will be refunded for non-residents, and €24.50 per adult and €21 per child for residents.

– Date changes are valid for 1 year if the reservation has not been redeemed. Date changes or cancellations must be made within 30 days of the initial booking date. Up to 3 changes can be made.
