Tenerife Sky at Night

Tenerife Sky at Night offers you the chance to experience stargazing in a unique location, far from the usual crowded spots.

As we make our way up to Teide National Park, we’ll have a short stop in the charming village of Vilaflor, known as the highest village in the Canary Islands.

We’ll journey through the Canary pine forest until we reach Las Cañadas del Teide, where we’ll pause at various viewpoints, including Los Roques de García, to take in the stunning scenery.

The journey continues as we enjoy the breathtaking views, eventually arriving at our destination: the 7 Cañadas restaurant, where you’ll savor a delicious dinner in a specially themed area.

Afterward, we’ll toast with a glass of cava while watching a spectacular sunset from one of the park’s viewpoints.

Once the sun sets, a Starlight guide with over 20 years of experience will share fascinating insights about the Canarian night sky, considered one of the world’s best for stargazing. Using state-of-the-art telescopes, we’ll delve deeper into the mysteries of the universe. The area offers the perfect conditions for this activity, with minimal light and noise pollution, while still being close to the amenities of the restaurant.

After the stargazing session, we’ll begin our journey back down to the coast.

Itinerary

Stargazing takes place in a designated area behind the restaurant, with access to its facilities throughout the activity. This exclusive spot offers ideal conditions for observing the night sky, thanks to its low light and noise pollution. Being far from crowded areas, the location is free from the disturbances caused by vehicle lights and sounds.

We will have advanced telescopes set up on one of the restaurant’s upper terraces for an optimal viewing experience.

The activity is led exclusively by official guides with Starlight certification, a team with over 20 years of experience.

Start time: Approximately 4:00 PM.
Duration: Around 9 hours.

Essential Information

The excursion will begin once all participants are on the bus.
Transfers may involve a bus change.
Pickup will be at the meeting point closest to your hotel.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring something warm.

People with reduced mobility should be aware that access to the activities involves walking on non-adapted paths or stairs.

This excursion may be subject to changes in itinerary and schedule due to adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control.
